So we made it to Peru. I think it was the hardest go yet. It was cold and raining almost the entire time. Just really hard to do for days and days. But we made it, we got to Peru and once again got robbed. Liz´s wallet was snatched and there was no chance of getting it back. So we were stuck at the border with no money and no way of getting money. My bank card had expired, so I have had no money for about 2 weeks but my parents got me a new card and have it here in Peru. So liz and I tried to get a hold of anyone that could help us out. Thankfully for us Lisa Dupis, Sue, and Liz´s Uncle Bill pulled through for us. We had a really hard 2 days waiting for the western Union to open up because we did not have enough money for food. But I just want to thank Lisa, Sue, and Uncle Bill for helping us out. I don´t know what we would have done with out you. So we got back on the road. Liz got a flat tire, after nearly 16,000 km so we had to replace it. These guys are just amazing, we pulled over to a small hut on the side of the road. There was 2 guys there that within minutes had liz´s bike proped up on a block of wood, her chain off, and the tire off the rim. There was a guy there that we had met that took me on the back of his bike with Líz´s rim to go and get it fixed. Liz´s rim was dented really bad in Honduras if you didn´t recall. Anyway, so we found a welder that heated up her rim and hammered it back in to shape for 2 dollars. Then back to liz´s bike and they put the new tire on for us for $1.50. It is just amazing what things cost here. I am always blown away by how hard these guys work and how fast they work for such little money. I am not complaining, it just remarkable. So we were back on the road again. I will wright a much better longer post really soon. We are meeting up with my parents today or tommorrow and then we will be settled for about 5 days. So I will have time to wright a good post. Please post comments about any questions I can answer for you. Anything that you may want to know about the trip, or our bikes, or us. Its always nice to be able to wright about what you want to here about. Okay, back on the road....
